slavery vs anti slavery

The argument for slavery being used is the it is needed to build wealth. Or to build the country. They make the claim the it is not evil but a necessity to a nation. The economics of the country will grow rapidly to build a powerful nation. Jesus approved of slavery so this might this not a problem. Also a popular argument pro slavery makes is that it is my property if you do not like it do not own a slave.

I find this statement extremely appalling.

Anti slavery arguments is slavery is stripping the freedom and dehumanizing individual. William loyd garrison makes the point that forced work is evil since they are not making any money. They do not care about these people only the economic growth. Slavery violates basic human rights and the United States should protect these individual. Looking back on history you can see which side was apart of the correct side of history. I would of been fighting for the rights of these slaves
