Reconstruction

John willis menard was the first black man elected to congress. He got two college degrees at Ohio central. This was a rarity at the time. Also is the first black man to talk in congress. He had the idea of sending slaves to Liberia in Africa. He was also denied at a seat in congress even though getting 64 percent approval. This man is very intresting and think it is crazy that he could not acquire a seat in congress. This makes no sense to me even in the racist past. The constitution should be blind to the color of another skin. There should be equal opportunity for everyone in this country.

The Klu klux clan was a racist white supremacy group that wanted to immediate minorities. They are a terrorist group apart of the democratic party that tried to harm minorities and scare them from voting at polls. The Klu klux clan is shutting down free speech of minorities and wearing masks. If you shut down free speech and cover your face your a coward to me.
